Northwest IMPACT is a collaboration of the 200+ contractors who employ iron workers from Iron Worker Local Unions in seven Northwest states. In Washington state, Local 86, Local 14 and Local 29 are all represented.

Iron Worker contractors the Erection Company, Lease Crutcher Lewis, and Supreme Steel, with the hard work of ironworkers from Local 86, completed the Rainier Square Tower project in downtown Seattle, Washington. The second tallest tower in Seattle, Rainier Square was erected with a revolutionary “SpeedCore” construction process, utilizing a concrete-filled composite steel plate shear wall core to substantially increase construction speed and increase building efficiency.
